5 Steps for Perfect Skin

If you’re like a lot of men, you don’t have a skin care routine or if you do, you prefer to keep it as simple as possible. Caring for your skin is not just for women. It helps keep your skin clear, healthy, and problem free. Try this easy, fuss free skin care plan and you will love the results!

Step 1: Cleanse Daily

At the end of the day, there are all kinds of dirt and oil on your face and it’s very important to remove it before you go to bed. By using a gentle cleanser, like our Clean & Clear Purifying Cleanser, you will remove any grime that could cause buildup in your pores. That buildup is one of the causes of acne.

Step 2: Use an Acne Treatment

It’s important to choose an acne treatment that contains ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide combined with glycolic acid or retinoids. If you have acne prone skin, apply a thin layer of an acne treatment over affected areas to see noticeable results.

Step 3: Exfoliate

It’s a good idea to exfoliate your face and body once a week. This will help remove any dead skin cells, dirt, and oil that may be clogging your pores. Use a gentle exfoliator on your face but a sugar scrub or slightly rougher exfoliator on your body to achieve the best results.

Step 4: Moisturize

Moisturizing on a daily basis is crucial for the overall look of your skin. It not only hydrates, but when using a moisturizer with SPF, you are protecting your skin from harmful UV rays. Make sure to use a moisturizer that contains an SPF of 15 or higher.

Step 5: Skip the After Shave

After shave tends to dry out the skin and can burn because it contains alcohol. Instead of using after shave, apply a moisturizer that contains SPF, as mentioned in step 4.

If you notice any changes in your skin or new or unusual markings, please see your doctor. These could be signs of a more serious medical problem.
